This year’s IMI Digital Printing Summer Camp features three timely courses covering Ink Jet Ink Manufacturing, UV Ink Jet Printing and Printed Electronics – described briefly as follows:
Ink Jet Ink Manufacturing Course – July 28-29, 2008
Led by Dr. Alan Hudd of Xennia Technology, this course is designed for those interested in and involved with taking an ink jet ink from a basic formulation to a finished product. It will appeal not just to ink developers but also managers who want to understand the issues involved in in-house or contact manufacturing of this lucrative consumable.
UV Ink Jet Printing Course – July 30-31, 2008
Led by James Goodrich of Sartomer Company, Jason Newell of Nordson UV and Dr. Alan Hudd of Xennia Technology, this course is designed to provide thorough coverage of basic UV chemistry, curing, issues critical to UV-based ink jet systems implementation and how UV technology has been implemented in current products and applications to enable a broad range of successful implementations in numerous end use industries.
Printed Electronics Course – July 31-August 1, 2008
Led by Dr. Bruce Kahn of Printed Electronics Consulting, this course is designed to provide thorough coverage of Printed Electronics technologies, issues and challenges that are critical to opening up new markets and opportunities for hardware manufacturers, materials suppliers, media developers, consumables manufacturers, systems integrators and others. Whether just entering the Printed Electronics market or branching out in current electronics industry segments, this course will better enable you to face the considerable technical challenges and barriers to commercial success.
